Re: Re: antenna

Here's a little update...
I got the new mount and antenna mast from worldpartsexpress.com. It has a wire which goes through the fender wall into the passenger side of the cabin. That wire then connects to another wire that is clipped just to the right of the glove box behind the side trim panel. It then runs to the back of the receiver. My current problem is that I broke that wire that goes from the back of the receiver over to the glove box. Anyone got one? Can't find it online yet. The ones I've seen in the local audio sound stores are too short. I might have to try the junkyard...

Re: antenna

For anyone who is interested...
You can buy the antenna extension cable for $2.50 and $2 shipping on ebay (36"), or find it at the local audio store for $3 (48").
All installed. Time to make that 10 hour disc!

Re: antenna

I drove around today for the first day with my new receiver and disc with WMA songs. Took me a little while to figure out how to make the 10 hr. disc. Didn't know you had to specify that you want to make a data disc versus an audio disc. I put 120 songs on one cd, and it only took up 440 of 700 available MB. It's actually 8 hrs. of music. I just ordered the same receiver to replace my stock Jeep receiver which has a cassette deck.
