Which ones do you think you'll hear better? The ones that are 3 feet away from you, or the ones that are 6 or 7 feet away from you in the back? Two GOOD front speakers is all you really need to enjoy music fully. The rest is just extra.

a component set is a package of tweeters, mid bass woofers and cross overs. so you would replace your woofers and tweeters. the crossover delivers the highs to the tweets and the lows to the woofer, so your tweets don't try to play bass and your woofers don't play the high cymbal crashes. That will ultimately prevent the uncrisp muddy sounds coming from the stock speaker. And like sparq said its best to invest in a good pair of fronts and don't worry about the rears (in fact I took them out) for more info

i have the jvc sh-99 mp3 headunit. i like it and it suits my needs. flashy looking, with tilt face and detatchable. has a front input for mp3 players also, otherwise it just uses cd's. folders and id3 tags keep everything organized.

that pioneer doesnt look bad either... has those fun EL display things. and xm capable if you chose to go that route. but i'm not too up on the audio scene.. so those are just my uneducated opinions.

sparqy knows more then me!
