exactly, electrical tape is great for slicks, last year in industrial tech, we had to make wooden drag cars, put them on string with space for a small CO2 cartridge, and we were the only group to use electrical tape on the wheels (just plastic). We won every single race (but not all because the tape

Well, that will eliminate the tread problem, but still the width has to be addressed, if you use suv wheels your slicks will be about 1/3 the width of slicks, so if you can find a way around that, then you'll be sittin pretty. Kudos.

that would probably work, but I think that the slicks would look too animated.. you know? too shiny without any realistics
