Re: PROGRESS: 612 Scaglietti
Yikes! Those oversized wheel opening lips really stand out now that it's painted.
Nice work, red looks good on it.

Little progress on the Scaglietti. I was really busy the last few days, because my 1:1 car needed new brakes all around
![]() It´s very sad that the most of the nice details will be covered later. I treated the whole exhaust with Alclad2 and used cigarette foil for the heat shield above. The "two in one"- molded pipes were seperated. Looks much better to me. It´s the first time i used Alclad. I also tried to give the headers their typical heat discoloration. As you can see, the headers do not really fit to the exhaust. Everyone who´s going to build this kit, should bend them a bit up befor painting. @klutz You´ve got a PM

Re: PROGRESS: 612 Scaglietti
Very nice progress, and you're absolutely right about the details on the underside, once you put the protector plates on it, it's all been for nothing, all those nice details, for instance, the rear differential is just gone, no way you can see transmission either, ah, well, the most important is to know it's there for yourself, isn't it?
good looking progress, and keep on making those little improvements ! Olivier |

looking good! waiting for the next update
I wish I can get my head (airbrush) around heat discolouration ![]() Why don't you and Bigfrit build a workshop diorama, put the Scagis up on a jack then you can leave teh protector plates off and we can see all your work ? |

Not A Hoarder!

Media mix has a very nice ferrari PE set (a decal set as well).
Ferrari PE I would consider these a must have for anyone building modern ferrari's.

@ TR
Thanks! That´s even better! Very bad news: I polished trough the red paint. I´ll try to fix it and hope to show you some progress soon.

I was quite busy the last time, so only little progress right now.
I´m still trying to save my red paint and started working on the interior. The back of the seats for example, are not like they should be. At the left you see the corrected one, on the right the revell seat. As long as i have to save money for the expensive and nice etched horses Hope you like it. Thanks for looking.
