Re: WTF is a Type R Civic??

http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=856396 5th post down, just skip the OBD2 stuff.
For wiring, you'll need to add all these wires: http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/wiring/wiring.92-95.jpg

Re: WTF is a Type R Civic??

I'd assume the swap would be the same, but here's the wiring (which I don't really understand completely myself): http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/wiring/wiring.96-98.jpg

GSR's were USDM, and they didn't come with a LSD or LSD Option. Now you could always buy a USDM GSR and ECU, Alxes, etc...everything but the tranny...and then just buy a JDM LSD tranny. There you go, LSD tranny, USDM GSR. Now the SiR Teg in Japan (kinda like a GSR over there) DID have an LSD option. It had a higher compression ratio though, if that matters to you. Same C/R as the JDM ITR (Integra Type -R), 10.6:1. Both the JDM Type-R Teg and the SiR had an engine code of B18C...the SiR had a black valve cover the ITR a red one. All the ITR/CTR's had an LSD.

any honda enthusiast..i see ur an af enthus...knows about the b16b...well i thought any honda enthus. would know..but i stand corrected...
it was never made for the us market...japan and some other contries have it..
b16b..puts out about 185hp but low torque about 120 ..i might be off on the torque though...
and comes with a hefty price tag of about 3500-4500
