Some Good News

There are alot more registered importers this year for 2005. But the question is what cars are they legalizing? If the Skyline was one of only cars on the eligiblity list that could be imported and legalized and motorex could only do that, why are there so many other RIs? I here of people importing Civic Type Rs, JDM Integras, Soarers, and Fairlady Zs with no problem but who legalizes them?

yah its a fairley good nice thred save for the one moron. yah there are alot of importers of skylines but the only legalizer i know of was motorex sill waiting on my emial from rbmotoring to prove the jackass they cant. i know of a site importing legalizing evo 7/8,integra,s13/14/15,pulsar GTiR.

I posted a email i got from motorex earlier and i told him i wasn't going to mess with ne more. right now my main objective is getting a job so i can grab a stelath RT/TT that is in my aera. I thinking that could hold me over till 2014. Btw check the post i made in the R34 GTR N-1 thingy. I just realised Igor lives a hour away from me. And thanks for all the help.

Whats the site legalizing Evos, Integras,S13,S14s, and S15s? Can you give us a link? And as for Gspeed corp. They are legit but illegal at some of what they are doing. YesturdayI emailed them and later called them I called them thinking they wouldnt reply to the email. When I called them in asked the guy about their cars and the skyline then pointed out it was not on NHTSAs list and asked how they got it pass customs he knew it was illegal and would not give a straight answer. He sounded nervous and stumbled with words alittle. He lied and had an excuse. He said I dont know, I will have to talk to the boss. He is not hear right now. He knew the car(s) were illegal. Then today I got a reponse to the email saying Thanks for the email. Thats unfortunate news. I think they were being sarcastic. But yet they have a complete Skyline and JDM RX-7 sitting in their savage yard and by NHTSA laws you cant even junk a nonconforming car for savage.

evolutionimports.net the Evos,integera are on the front page. The others are under used cars but if u buy be sure and ask them to legalize it. Like when i asked bout the Pulsar GTiR they said it wasn't legal as it stood but they could legalize for not much more.

Thanks for the link. I saw some cars on there that werent on the eligibility list. Im going to ask them about a MarkII/Chaser? If they can do that they got my bussiness.

Isn't the chaser the japanese equalivent to a lexus we have here? I can't find that one where is it? Notice they have skylines but like i said they dont' claim to legalize nething but what is on the first page so like u said ask them bout it. They are a very nice company it they can import it for u they will. You will proabably get a response within a day or 2 if u have a junk mail filter make sure to check the junky folder.

No. There is no Toyota/Lexus over here equavilent to the Chaser. From 1992 in on there isnt. At one time we did get Mark IIs here.They were the cressidas (markIIs in Japan). But in 92 they went there seperate ways. A new redesigned MarkII was released in Japan in 92. The Cressida coontinued production one more year hear in was discontinued in 93. It sucks the new MarkII/Chaser did not make it to the U.S. A 92 Toyota MarkII Tourer V is what I want. I always wanted one of those. If you are talking 91 and back then yes there is a U.S. equalivent. 92 and newer then no.

And oh yeah. I havent asked them about the MarkIIs and Chasers yet but I sent an email asking about their legalization cost. And while looking through some of their pics I saw some Chasers (96 and up) in the background. I think that may answer my question, but Im still asking them to be sure.
