I too, am needing a clutch.

What are the best places to buy them, & what should I look for.
I am not going to be doing any heavy mods for at least a year.

Also, I think my breaks are going too. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Re: Clutch parts

for the clutch....i would recommend a SPEC stage 2. its available at just about any online performance store.

for the brakes.... http://www.club3g.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25719

I guess it would have helped if I said that I have 01 GT.

Also what are some of the good online performance stores?

Thanks again

Re: Clutch parts

yeah ACT is a good company too. when you decide on a clutch, make sure you DO NOT get the strongest clutch. if you are not going FI then you don't need at SPEC stage 3 or the ACT 2600. these clutches will be too much for an N/A car. you will destroy your stock differential. going with the SPEC stage 2 or ACT 2100 would be your best bet

Re: Re: Clutch parts

Thank you for all your help, but it looks like I am going to need a hell of alot more then a clutch & brakes.
I wrecked my car this morning.
Not sure if it is totaled, but it isn't looking good.

Off to look for another Eclipse.

Re: Clutch parts

I love it!!!!! How many times has someone come on here asking about mods, only to post a few days later how they wrecked it!!!!!! Oh well, more cars in the junk yard for me to pull apart to fix the little thing that are wrong on my car.
