yep, but the subs would bottum out at verry low volums, so yeah they need to be closed off from one another

As far as sealed vs ported - people who enter competitions use ported because it's on the average 3 dB louder than sealed. Heck bandpass boxes are even louder i believe. However, sealed boxes hit low notes really well. There's not much, if any, baffle that you hear out of ported boxes. The sound is much cleaner and smoother, so the sQ is great

I will always say go sealed unless you're in a sound competition. Sealed boxes are smaller, easier to build, and they sound ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat! *like tony the tiger lol*

sounds good. i was pretty sure it would be a sealed enclosure for me, now i think it'll be for sure. im gonna get something done custom to fit the hatch nicely, and i value my space and SQ over SPL. i wouldnt use one sub if i wanted to just be loud as fuck.

hopefully i'll get all my stuff into my car finally... its just sitting in my room right now. i got a fuckin $50 ticket for parking illegally at my school parking lot, so im gonna hafta go argue that one. there was so much snow that you couldnt see the boundaries of the lot, but apparently i was out of it, along with an entire row of cars... hopefully i can get out of it cuz money has been so tight these past few months, and the damn gov't doesnt need an extra 50 bucks from a highschool kid.

kinda off topic, but does anyone have experience fighting tickets? especially parking violations obviously. this is my first ticket, and im pissed about it, and i'd rather keep my money in my pocket.

i dont care what kind of person you are, if your gothic, buy a nice plad shirt, and white under shirt, get the short preppy hair cut, and go dressed up like a business person would, stay calm, do NOT yell or rais your voice, if the cop shows, state your case, weather was so bad, wasnt plowed, couldnt see the lines, it did seam like you were parked over kind of far, but seen other vehicals in your line, so didnt think much of it, and if you couldnt see the lines you wounder how the officer could, and wait to see what verdict you get

i went to city hall, told them i wanted to inquire about my ticket, they gave me a form, i described as best i could why i shouldnt be fined... im supposed to receive some mail letting me know within 10 days. i like my $50 in my own pocket.
