I need a new idea to mount it im not gonna do it by the rear view mirror

So where can you get a radar detector that warns you of lasers/scanners, etc. in the area? And is there a way to turn it off so that if you are pulled over a cop can't take it/write you a ticket for it?

The one thing I hate more than anything is to get busted by a cop who hides like a pansy.

they have a cobra radar detector at walmart for like 100.00

radar detectors only work when the cop has their radar on. most cops now adays like to "gun" you. they have their radar off and with the flip of a switch (or the push of a button) they turn it on and read your speed and by the time your radar goes off, you're already screwed but the only advantage it has then is it let's you know you're fucked, instead of having to guess.
