b20 w/ a b16 tranny (Y1)

yep...it is a little faster than the b16. a b20/b16 tranny combo could net you anywhere from 14.1 to 14.9....it all depends on which b16 tranny and which b20 you have (b20b or z) and all the other factors (driver, tires, altitude, mods, weight, etc.). But, i'd shoot myself in the head if you couldn't get a 14 sec. 1/4 with a b20 w/ b16 tranny.

Decent milage.. It depends how much I stay out of VTEC and how fast I cruize at.. Above 80mph for about 1-1.5 hours a day I get around 420km out of a tank. (I dunno how many miles that is)

B16 CRXSi, anywhere from 15.0 to 14.5. If you have an LSD a 14.5 wouldn't be unattainable.

if you want speed and have the money to spare go b series, it has more hp potential. if you just want a hp gain and have less to spend go z6/y8

I guess so.. I don't really know the reson behind it, sometimes I word things funny just for the sake of it though. Some might agrue that it would be unattainable, so I said it wouldn't be. Who cares right, maybe I'll just start typing like this:

those were pics as he got it. shortly after he airbrushed up the car for his senior project at school. i think it turned out pretty decent considering it was his first attempt at airbrush ever

at first when he airbrushed that, i didnt like it because i preferred the red that was previously on it. The more i looked at it though, the more i appreciated the work he put into it. Any idea where that car is these days ami?

of course i do...he's my friend! unfortunatly every car meet we've had he hasn't been able to get out of work. he drops by but doesn't get to stay long.

that crx owner is brothers with our other friend, the owner of this civic we did a swap into:







he painted the engine bay while we had the engine out.

oh yea..i'd like to point out:

the crx is b16

the hatch is y8 adding turbo (it's in the mail)

it'll be intresting to see those 2 cars line up after the turbo, that y8 is built up and already pretty mean. that is another example of 2 people going with 2 different set-ups.
