Re: 91 Accord Will Not Start

The early 90's Accords had known bad distributors(ignitor). Even a recall on some..

Hey, I'm working on a 90 accord of my buddy's, won't start and all. I got a suggestion that it may be the "TW" sensor on the accord.
On saturns its the more appropriately named ECTS (engine coolant temperture sensor). I haven't tried it yet but it seems logical, your car was idling rough, and wont start at some temps because because your A/F ratio is off, the sensor controls how much fuel is givin to the car to compensate for the different expantions of air at different tempertures, also to warm your car up when it is cold outside... but its worth a try for the cheap price at a salvage yard.heard it was about $2

Re: 91 Accord Will Not Start

Check to see if you have spark. If you have spark, the ECU is good along with the sensors that feed it. Check the easy and cheap things first then go to the hard and expensive.
