Bump, the comment was made that you never heard about them, untill now is correct, and in the quote you took from me, I explained why! LOL Because they used to be really expensive, but now they have gone down on their price. Bump you were also right when you said you didnt think I would ever talk about them if I didnt sell them. Yes thats true too and you said that I havent said anything bad about them and thats because I HAVE HAD NO BAD EXPERIENCE!!! Ask Erikbronx or WickedG20 just to name a couple, I have never heard anything bad from them. Is WICKED's car RICE? I know it doesnt sound rice! I mean its one thing to have an opinion or tell one some information but its another thing to just sit there and Spit in someones face. I am really pissed off and offended. I really wish that you guys would of kept the personal comments in e-mail and PM. I dont mind that you guys dont agree with quality and ish, but the other stuff needs not to be here! Well I cant think of anything else to say, but I hope that I have expressed my point! Thank you. :alien: :licker: :smoka: :flash:
Boy Tizao, you really need to get the sand out of your Clit.

yeah this thread turned. sorry for sying that. that was my personal opnion. I just didn't want a 3/4 alxe back i wanted a caback. thats why i said obx sucks. sorry okay my opnion. and you have yours. so any sorry if i offeneded you i just disagree because i think that catbacks are better and i would spend the extra 200 to 300 for 2-3 more hp. plus with other mods like header intake and cams it would greater then 2-3. but anyways my opnion again. sorry for offfending you.

The OBX exhaust I have heard on Honduh's, and shit, even a the godly Nissan's, have a raspy sound. So unless OBX has changed their poduct, I still think they rate up there with TenzoR, and APC.

OK with this comment, I can understand....you have had the experience.....I guess that we just have different opinions of raspy, I mean yes it is a little bit, but its nothing compared to some of these exhausts I have heard. And I think it is totally worth the price. :alien: :licker: :smoka: :flash:

FINALLY! Something with actual sound! That's a lot more informative than quotes like "well it's kinda like a XYZ, but not as raspy".

Thanks for the post, man. Wish exhaust manufacturers would put something like this (or at least some sound bytes) on their web pages.

Cool video... loved the exhaust tone.

Cheers.

The Greddy will be more effective the more mods are added. A weld on (to stock exhaust, even axle back) will become more restrictive as mods are added.

This is true for most all engine mods. Say you have just a header. It will make a difference. Now you add a CAI, power output will be greater than without a CAI. Now you add Random Tech cat and a set of camshafts. Your engine is now putting out more power than stock yet you're not really noticing a huge difference. You finally throw on full cat-back mandrel bent, bigger pipe exhaust and BINGO that was your answer. Now that your mods are all complimentary (which is the key) all your parts can be experienced at a level that they were designed too. You see, though the exhaust itself seems shady, it compliments the rest of your mods which is essential.

A better example would be a hole in wall. There is water on both sides of the wall. Now the water starts to flow faster one way. The hole was only designed for a small amount of water. Now that water is flowing faster one way it will start to collect and build up essentially making this hole a "choke" spot instead of a outlet. Now make the hole bigger and what happens, all that built up water will begin to flow better.

Though not a perfect example, you still get the point...I hope. I trust we all know that too big of a pipe will kill performance. The example was for stock vs. pre-made cat-back (i.e.-Greddy).

Yea yea I hear what you are saying! MAkes sence to me.....but, our G's were made with a really good exhaust system though.....so a cat back doesnt help that much more! I could see this on a HONDUH:alien: :licker: :smoka: :flash:

I might be going out on a limb, but I don't think you have laid a stock G20 exhaust next to a cat-back. If you have, you wouldn't have said what you just did. It's not as good as you think it is although it is a little better than a Honda.

Hm........nope I never had......isnt the difference the .25 of an inch on the diameter!? Well, I went over to P_R_I_M_E_R_A 's house and saw and heard his Greddy.......well if I get a catback I am deffinately getting one of those! I LOVE IT! Sounds so freaken nice! But, If no catback, I will just stay with the obx! LOL! :alien: :licker: :smoka: :flash:
