Re: Guys wanting to buy an air intake setup...check this out first

I can't wait to see pictures. I will do this to save some money. What do dealerships say about doing air intakes do they void the warrenty. and when you do this are you going to take the screen out of your mass flow sensor. does anyone have any pictures of their setups they are using. thanks

I have all of the parts here, but I'm waiting to install everything because of my nitrous setup. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to drill out the throttlebody or if I'm going to tap into the intake tube. Decisions...decisions...

t does work. i have been running the same setup for over a year on my truck. only diff is i used a 4" 45 degree tube to connect to my mass air. he is using something different.

All in all, i will put my homebrew kit up against anything on the market. if i get beat on the dyno it won't be by very much if at all.

Jeremy, you need to spray into the tube about 4" or so in front of the TB.

Thanks for the info, John. Goshawk23's kit looks really good and it really seems to be helping him out a ton. That's about where I was going plum the nitrous, but I don't want to do it to the MIT I have on there now. I'm going to sell it to that guy on tech that has been looking for one.

Goshawk, glad to see you're expanding out to other forums. I spend alot of time in the racing/street racing section here. There's some good stuff going on in there always.
