Re: Ok Everyone Please Read........

This idea could work. If different people did different parts and sent it to one person to edit. You could do more than one volume. Like 1st could be stuff like suspension, rear brake swap, MPFI swap...the smaller things. Then the others could be seperated into different engine swaps.

Re: Ok Everyone Please Read........

I think a website with how-tos with photos of the steps would be more easier to make, and more beneficial since you have all the technical information there to read and re-read, instead of having to rewind a video file or disc.

The idea seems nice, but far too much work is involved, and you'd have a nice stack of CDs on how-tos. Nice way to make some money though, but i think a website would be easier and then everyone can contribute with different photos of mounts, etc, and photos of how they did swaps and mods. Alot of 4g sites i see online aren't kept up to date anymore

Maybe a site with how-to articles, photos, and then add some small video clips as references? That way, on the difficult parts, you can get some extra help with the videos

Re: Ok Everyone Please Read........

that would be cool, but then again like i said you want to read about it and hope your doing in right?

that is why i think i video on what you are doing would be good. i have a tape that shows you how to do auto inter, and it's great. if i am doing someons car and can't remeber what i was doing i can just pop in the tape and wammmm. i got it.

about the web thing, that is just another reading thing. ok like this i was doing a v-ajustment on my integ sat night and putting in my new cam seal, i got the right up off the internet. it was good don't get me wrong but one part says put honda bond on it, well i printed it out an you can't even see where he put the hondabond, i print it at work and there is no color. well and way i put it around the seal and it should have been put on the head before i put the cam cap back on. if i had a video i would have seen them do it and it would have done it right the first time.

and quicksilver you can tape it all if you wanna fly to everyones house and do the job, and hell sence your sis is only in orlando and i a am in zephyrhills 30min you can bring her to.

Re: Ok Everyone Please Read........

if ur gonna do it...have someone first do a video of the removal of the old engine....that way u can use that for every application...that's a lot of lighting that's gonna be used...so i suggest doing it indoors

about making it free...do it the way religion does...in order to view u must give a donation or "love gift" but there's no way anymore to keep people from copying it though

oh yeah...don't forget to add a disclaimer...people are quick to sue nowadays

Re: Ok Everyone Please Read........

Seriously, a series like the one's they show on Spike network (Horsepower TV, Extreme 4x4, and Trucks) dedicated to Imports (honda, nissan, mitsubishi) would be huge. I mean there are shows like Tuner Transformation and NOPI TV, but they don't show you how to do the work, just the end result.
