SO the big question is what happened when you finnaly got back home on saterday night?

Was the wife up and waiting with a few nice cold beers, after sending the kids off to stay with friends or family?

Or was in she in bed asleep but had left a pillow and sleeping bag on the couch?

Bummer mate.

OH well I trust you had a good day anyway. It was good to get a few people you know but have never meet together.
It was interesting to see how different people online personalitys were from thier real world ones.

Was the ticket from a camera? or a cop? You never know with the camera's, but then you have wait for the bloody thing to be sent out.

Cop car coming the other way. I was in a complete dream and spotted him about 4-500 metres away and didn't even think to look how fast i was going.
He flashed his lights, turned around and then pulled me over.
He took all my details, then as he was checking my licence he said...
'its your birthday today i see. Best you take this as a present and i'll see if i send a ticket out"
Now if he was giving me a ticket he would have done it there and then wouldnt he ????
I think he was playing mind games with me because about 40k up the road was another one sitting on the road

Mate! He was just fucking with ya!

If they dont issue it there and then, then your home free.

Iv had some cops tell me they would send me a ticket for dangerous driving after I tail gated some old lady up a passing lane.
They never did, as I had good cause to lay a more seriuos complaint against her, after she nearly wrote my car off at a roundabout. (and hence got infrount of me)
No ticket ever arriaved, and I never heard anything more about it.
And I get the feeling she was treated much the same as I was.

Sounds like more NZ police getting wrapped up in the power trip.
But to lazy to do the paper work.

Bugger about the cop though it sounds as though he was pulling your chain. The summons well that could be pennants for speeding having to sit on your own trial for speeding
