Hey guys I was just on the S10 forum and on one post about lifter noise, there is extensive good/bad on lucas oil-you guys should check it out.

on your first post from the lucas oil website it says it raises the octane to eliminate spark knocks. thats where it says it. no i havent used marvel mystery oil.

Lucas gas treatment different than STP gas treatment? The Lucas automatic transmission treatment oil has worked GREAT on my '78 Nova's th200. It shifts like new now!

I have never used either product so I couldnt say. Only one I tried was that gas treatment.
