The front suspension for all civic's (excluding Wagon) from 92-00 is the same. Honda changed the rear suspenion for the civic from 92-95 to a different one for 96-00.

Could explain the difference in height for your car but I doubt it.

Yea, I don't think so either!

Do you know if the rear springs for a Hatch/Coupe/Saloon are the same?

Not sure if the springs are different but I checked the difference in weight between the two. The hatchback is approx 1022kgs and the coupe is approx 1026kgs. Not much difference there. The 1.6 SOHC VTEC coupe is 1126kgs. If the springs where made for this car it could account for the difference in height.

Oh well - I'll just have to attach a few concrete blocks to the engine bay
