I started reading your posts and couldn't figure out why anyone hadn't replied in between. Then I saw that they were all within a few min's of each other!! What a treat to see so much of the progress all at once.

You're doing a great job, as usual. I really like your work.

Murray

Great progress!

I have the same transkit but as the Monte Carlo version. The project has been stalled for quite a while because of my lazyness, but I've now finished the body and part of the interior. Some of the parts were quite crappily finished in my kit. The boltholes in the wheels look like they were drilled by someone who had his eyes closed and the part that should go between the rear shock towers is much too short to fit. Other parts aren't that good either but the decals are good. If the decal sheet hadn't been bent to fit into the package they would have been easy to apply, now some of the were damaged to many pieces If I'd start this project again I might go for the more expensive S27 transkit. I took better wheels and tyres from a Tamiya Corolla so that's an extra cost that should be considered when comparing these two transkits.

During the waiting for the clear coat on the body to dry, I did some more work at the interior and the wheels. The rims were detailed, decalled and weathered, the tires got the same treatment.I also did some more work at the interior, adding some parts and putting in some wiring (educated guess).

looks great, one question though. Are the wheels on backwards? or is it just me?

Great stuff Guy, you Belgians sure love Freddy.
Wonder what he's doing this year?
Did you leave the fuel tank as bare metal or did you paint it?

To be honest, I have no clue what freddy is up to this year... But we also have François Duval of course, and I'd like to believe that he will win his first WRC this year

I was gonna leave the fuel tank as bare metal, but I changed my mind because I'm not sure whether the bare metal will remain that way in a few years... So I painted it.
