Hi There Matt
You are smaller than me only by 2 years .. I am 15 years old .. Btw , Some advised ya about getting NA .. I don't agree with them because The Driver can goes more than 100MPH in both NA and TT .. My advice to you to get another normal car in the beginning .. I am not talk down you man .. The beginners have to practise How to launch the car and How to shift fast .. Some people burn the clutch or make problems in the engine .. If you got money to fix the car , It's okay ..

but see, my bro has a car that is manual, he lets me drive it in big parking lots, i have had alot of practice and can ahift farelly well, my bro has a t-bird supercoupe 97, but i will take what you said in consideration, how much on average would it coast to fix a broken clutch anyway?

top speed wasn't my concern, its how fast the car moves, its very similar to owning a corvette. i wouldn't recomend any 13.5 second car to a begginner. and practice in a parking lot doesn't say much. it takes years to learn to be a excellent driver. usually young kids are speed happy and a vr4 is not the car to be speed happy in.
but like i said, of course its up to you

A 2G eclipse GSX and $500 cash to get you an MBC, a boost guage, a K$N FIPK, and IC piping and a BOV. Thats a great starter car thats fast, good looking, easy to tune and cheap to get. A VR-4 is a beastie, but as a starter car, I would not recommend it to anyone. IMO.
