Stop calling me a n00b, I'm far from it, just because I have a low post count DOESNT mean I'm a noob.
Now, yes possibly a vacuum leak. Take a can of that keyboard cleaner stuff, the really cold stuff, and spray it around your vacuum lines when it is having a lopy idle, the cold air will freeze a crack in a line for a few seconds and the car should run decent until the ice melts. And I don't think its the EACV because usually when they go bad, your car will run good cold, but when it warms up it will have a lopy idle. Next time it does it, also try to pull up on the gas pedal with your toe and see if that helps.

yeah its ur map sensor easy to fix thats whats making it rev high my friend has a ls in his hatch and it was his map sensor.
