Re: pivot headlight controller no more! free lazy eyes, and no getting dirty!

o well good luck to ya, hope it works so you didnt get that headlight controller for no reason. LOL and nothing against you or anything but in that one picture on your cardomain site, you remind me of phez off of that 70s show. The one where your in the black shirt with your girl. It's just that one picture though, i dont know why it makes me think that, but it does lol.

yes, xcessive, when i say new modified button again, i am refering to the headlight pop up button, in fact thats the only button i mention, to clear up some things. if you play with it a bit, youll get it.

Re: pivot headlight controller no more! free lazy eyes, and no getting dirty!

hahaha you had better believe that i was him for hallowe'en last year!! it was awesome.. i have the accent and slur down to the T!! problem is that my voice is a little too deep but its still pretty damn funny..
but yeah i'm gonna see what i can do about wiring up the pivot controller to that system.. if not then i'll make another switch and sell the pivot controller to another guy here in ottawa with a 240.. he'll go for it..

EDIT: and for the snow, its hard packed and -40degrees outside so none of it would have come off easily.. i dont want to put anymore marks in the paint than there already is.. but chances are ill get it repainted next summer anyways.. we'll see what happens

You have some weird shit on the hood, right above the headlights, they look like some kind of vents....

if you dont want to cut any wires...just disconnect the plug under the headlight motor near the headlight and then manually twist the knob until you get it into the position you want...dont have to worry bout cutting wires...and if you get tired of it...just reconnect the plugs

Re: pivot headlight controller no more! free lazy eyes, and no getting dirty!

i've done the same except connected the wires with a switch so i can deactivate/activate the switch at any time. I've tried disconnecting the brown switch but it didn't seem to work for me. Instead i installed a $3 switch to the light green wire and it has the same effect yet this time around you don't have to turn on your lights. Just pop them up with the secondary switch and then lower 'em back down to a desired lazy position using the switch i installed.

i'm not trying to explain how i did it... just telling you guys there are other methods if this one doesn't work.

Re: pivot headlight controller no more! free lazy eyes, and no getting dirty!

damn so those are scoops. They look good in the snow lol. I can see them in your sig too, now that i know that their there. It just looks like some shiny distorted thing on your hood in that pic though, i guess you freshly washed it because its super shiny. I just assumed it was mirroring something in the background. But now i know what it is, so it makes sense lol.
