lol

16 k to spend hmmm older rx7 turbos had a nastyoverheating problem 300zx just slow and as far as civic what a waste my suggestion is to find a nice 89 iroc z with the 350 that will cost about mybe a total of 5 k now u got 11 k to work with blower exhaust cam and light head porting can all be done for less than 6k and you wil be running high 10's on street tires

Dont buy a new car my friend, especially a ricer. trust me.
Your weight distribution would be so fucked up it would handle like a goddamn drag racer. A SR20DET would serve the purpose far better. He said he wanted fast, not ridiculously fast. Power is nothing without control.

My word, another fucktard steps to the plate. Well 911, JTR sells a motor mount kit that allows you to mount the V8 all the way back against the firewall, thus resulting in a damn near stock weight distribution. Besides, ask anyone that knows anything about hybrid z's, the average V8 swap adds only a little over and sometimes under 100lbs.

If one was on a budget, why choose the SR20DET? $2000.00 is not affordable for a measily 220hp. I've seen built V8's locally in Phoenix for as low as $500. Umm yeah, Ill take the V8 too.

Yup, and then you do the whole aluminum heads and relocate the battery to the trunk and its back to normal... thats what i've heard anyways...

I think some guy on here was putting a SR20DET in a Z... he said the power to weight was going to be awesome... wonder where he went... I don't even remember his name
