SLP, Suncoast and every other company that makes a functional Ram Air Hood. Makes a intake to go with it. Or you could search Ebay or www.car-parts.com but you should be able to find one pretty easily.

Hood and lower airbox would honestly be mostly an appearance mod. Wouldn't gain much, if any from it.

ls1 is the v8 that comes in 98+ camaros and firebirds (f-bodies).
When buying your car make sure its the ls1(v8) and not the v6. A regular firebird has a v6, formula and transam firebirds have v-8 ls1. 93-97 transams and formulas had the lt1 v8. peace

That depends on many variables and is not a easy question to answer. Any answer you get one way or the other will be biased. Its like asking whats better apples or oranges. They both have there strong points and weakness's but good rule of thumb is planning to keep it semi stock go LS1 and planning to go modified go LT1, power wise that is but either would do just fine against 95% of whats out there is each other shoes.

i know its a late post but ram air hood are really cool looking but cai is cheaper and you can keep that stock look and 98-00 are great looking an very light compaired to older models
