Damn , i'd love to have that car , but i don't know if i'd love to drive it... i'll have pepole following me everywhere i go , i would only drive it by the night and when passing pepole they would just be like "damn , what kind of car that was?" :finger: ... Btw i still think that a Techart GT Street , or some gemballa etc prepared porsche turbo will give it a run for way less money...

Right, I would go nuts with one of those.
We had an auto show here in Dallas lastmonth. Lexus had a weird concept car that I am still trying to find a pic of. I will post one when I get it. It kind of looked like it was a prolwer cross with a dune buggy!
WILD looking. Is you A8 standard?

Carrera GT hmmmm
I think my wife likes them even more than I do. !

speaking of which, don't send any Dallas girls - I may have a hard time explaining them

Are you doing a dyno run before & after the chip install ?
....may be worth it - assess power gain & air / fuel ratios.
Let me know how you go.

Hey Q..
I will probably get the dyno done at the end of the month. I am busy at work so I have to find the time to do it.
Sorry about the Dallas girls. I forget that I am single sometimes!!
Your old lady would have a fit!!

:smoker2: I see. The dash and a/c controls are so much different from what I have seen. What's up with all the wrecked Porsche's out behind your turbo?

Re: Up grading computer chip on a Boxster?

Go to www.evoms.com/p%20boxster%/20main.htm/
They have a level 3 upgrade that should give you aruond 50 - 60 extra hp. After that you'll need to get MSD cd ignition box from performanceproducts.com, and a set of high performance ignition wires. Total cost is around 4k. If you want another 80-100hp on top of that, there is a company out of Baltimore who will custom install a supercharger. Cost for that is up around 8k.
