This will need some extra detailing overall, but this is what I have done sofar, and I m quite pleased with the result already.

Tell me what you think?

Well done! Those added details will really finish the realism look.

Looking great! I have the same question about the wheels, they look perfect. And should be finished in time for the comp too.

I've build this kit a few years back and I think the wire wheels are from the kit with some blackwash, then again I might be wrong.

Did you do any modification on your front wheel? The actual model wheel is attached directly on a steel rod if I'm not mistaken.

One thing I want to remind you is that the photo etch parts included for the head light housing is a bit big and you have to use BMF if you don't want to alter the etched part.

Yes Indeed, the wheels are just the stock wheels, with quite a lot of blackwash, but just not too much IMHO.

And to reply the question about the front wheels, yes I built a posable steering system, and it works pretty well, stands right where I wanted it.

And for the BMF, well, I think I m going to pass it this time, as I m a bit doing some adventuring into the paint marker side (what do you think of the window frame, looks excellent, no?), but there will still be the possibility to rely on the BMF to fix it if it goes wrong.

And guys, thanks a lot for the really nice comments, and see you in a few days for a finished thread.
