theres a write-up somewhere on the internet explaining why(spark plugs with more then 1 "prong"(?) or whatever theyre called need more energy to produce a spark as strong as one with 1 prong)

i have NGK v-groove plugs and some red plug wires (dunno what kind, they came with the ZC)

just wondering about the temp of the plug tho, if u get a hotter plug, what will it do? and same with a colder plug? any advantages/disadvantages?

its basic ingnition. Spark wants closest to ground right, well if you have 4 prongs then it going to ignight the furtherst away from the combustion meaning slight less full combustion.

Some good info, check here:NGK

BTW, I use OEM wires and standard Autolite plugs, and it runs great.

Re: What kind of plugs and wires are you all using?

I would say the best combo would be the stock Honda OEM Sumitomo wires and NGK vpower plugs.
I can't remember where maybe on HT but they dyno tested a few brands and the OEM wires performed the best as well as the oem plugs.
A good aftermarket wire would be Magnecore wires.

I'm using MSD 8.5MM wires with Some Copper Plugs... Not sure of brand on the Plugs... They work just fine though.

1 step colder plugs are also good if you plan on running nitrious, but you cant beat stock plugs and wires un less your running way more than a stock motor...

i can't remember what kind of wires. i'll have to look later.

plugs are bosch platinums. the cheapest platinums. that's what was in when i bought it, so i stayed with the trend.

gunnmen01

yea mines more then just stock, has a mild P&P, bored throttle body, running a pr4 computer so it runs richer and compensates for the bigger throttle body, intake, header, and full exhaust
