Okay, well I'm finished arguing with you. I have better things to do than waste my time debating with someone that has the mindset of a ten-year-old and is just as close-minded.

Re: Header for a Civic CX Hatch 1997

Hello,
What do I do about the O2 sensors that used to go after the stock cat. The new header has 2 spots for the O2 sensors, but they have not been through any cat yet?
Will my CEL come on??? What can I do about this, Will my car run shitty?

You only need the primary in the header. The secondary needs to be placed after the cat, or get an o2 sensor simulator and don't use the secondary at all, it's up to you.

The secondary o2 sensor has no bearing on how the car runs... all it does is function for emissions purposes... it determines if your catalytic converter is functioning or not, and that is all it does.
I took my brothers secondary off all together and plugged the hole, because it went bad and was just causing the CEL to come on.

Killa,
First, you are one of a couple who are a great help!
So if I unplug the secondary, it wont turn on the CEL?
so why get the o2 simulator if you can just unplug it the sensor?
Thanks Man

No, if you unplug the secondary sensor, the CEL will be on... but it will only be to tell you that the circuit to the sensor is not functioning. Which is why you need an O2 simulator, because it will complete the circuit, there by preventing that type of CEL warning... but it will also fool the ECU into thinking everything is fine with the O2 sensor.

here... this is how it works

And can be found at http://www.o2simulator.com/
