Perhaps if I was that dedicated to my marriage, I would be having a better year. I truly respect his steadfast commitment to his wife. I need to be more like him.

Id rather have the ring than my finger, Though if i ever did go to war Id keep the ring on my dog tags so its closer to my heart.

As much as I love my husband, its only a ring. It could've been fixed if it got cut. I would not have had my finger cut off for a ring. Shit its not middle earth.

But I do admire his dedication to his wife. Too bad more people don't have that dedication to their loved ones. Wish I did.

And somethnig I was just wondering, how would he have worn his wedding ring without a finger? On the other hand I guess? And what if they wound up splitting up? That'll be an awfully big reminder of his love for her at the time and for whoever he winds up dating or marrying in the future. Not something I'd wanna see on my man, the reminder of his love for another woman.
