If your cv joint rips apart like mine did my car slammed down as i was driving because your tire buckles it can be very ugly. so be careful you can mess up under the car and ruin your tranny

Well i swapped the axle out today... only really needed it on the drivers side... it was a real mother to take it off... took about 3 hours to get it out and about 20 minutes to get the new one in and back together... anyways thanks for the advice :P the whole job only cost 60.00 for the axle, and 15 for a 32mm socket... ooh yea the car will not slam down if the cv joint goes out while your driving... just loses power and goes clunkity clunk..... luckily i was driving it to my neighbors shop when it gave out... i coasted in :P
