9100 is about as high as you're going to get. you don't get much faster than these cars

I'm trying to recall where I saw the RB26 capable of running 10,000rpm. Obviously it wasn't an average driven car.

But here's Sumo Power's R34 here in the UK which runs up to 9,500rpms!
http://www.exvitermini.com/s34specs.htm

And here's the site from the drag strip we watched it at:
http://www.japshow.com/jap%20perform...show/index.htm

That's actually the drag strip that killed my transmission!

Anyway, I saw that R34 run it's 9.681 seconds @ 146.21 mph quarter mile! It was fricken amazing!
I was pissed that I couldn't drive mine out to that show... The Skyline Owner's Club I'm in here had a stand and I had to give up my reserved spot... Sometimes I hate my car, actually myself for doing that to my car.

Well, found a 10,000 rpm one, it's A'pex's:

Not the one I remember seeing... It was probably a JGTC or drag one running the RBX-GT2 race engine. Like the 400R got, man I want one of those!

Just got the pic I took of the sumo R34 loaded up, it's BAD ASS!
Usually the cars over here are really screwed up and not tuned well, but this is an exception!
