I agree, thats way too much for those. I also dont like the rounded shape of the holes. I prefer the diamond shaped ones. I dont have a pic damnit, but I think you know what I'm talking about.

Look, everyone has the right to give their opinion. All I can tell you guy's is, if you want to make your own grille's from steel drywall insert lathe mesh, by all means do so, but slamming our product isn't fair. We feel our product is as good as any on the market today and we have the best price out there. Please, post some pics (close up's) of your home made grille's so we can all see how nice they are. Also it takes a lot more than you would think to run a business in this day and age.

Let's see, for my 92 civic: $79 for the center insert, $49 for the sides. Plus shipping that's almost $140! You can get a grill craft grill for less than that! As if they weren't bending us over enough....

First, thank you for supporting AF with your advertising.

Now, my custom made grille is probably not as nice as the ones you offer. It may not be powdercoated or sport fancy design, but I like it. It also didn't cost me.....um.....you don't even have one for my car...well lets just say $100. I can replace mine more than 110 times for your price. And plus I have the satisfaction of making it myself.

Good luck with your business

Boy an $0.80 grille must look real good!!!

Hey maybe you could make an intake from some paper towel tubes and tin foil, I bet you could make it for under $0.25!!

Some people like to have top quality products to trick out their rides and obviously some don't.

Nice try, but if you're paying $178.95 for grill craft, you're an idiot. Look here for $129.95

Nice prices on that site. I'll have to get some stuff for my car from them. LOL !! Hey go buy some grillcraft grille's then and plan on spending the day installing them plus drilling and cutting your front bumper.

Or I could buy neither and put my money to better use!! Yay!!

Arguing and being smart with your customers or in front of them is no way to do business. Didn't you take any classes??

And I'm never gonna be with that attitude. :finger4:

You figure, who's gonna do business with someone who's playing games with people online like you are?

I'm not really handy with those whole grill things, and I didn't want to make up so I bought one (company known as eurogrills) bought a 2 piece for a 95 Accord and 4 pieces for a 99 civic). You know how much I paid for both shipped? $30! I mean yes I could have made a product similiar at home, but it wasn't that bad of a price. i think is email addy is like [email protected]..if someone wants it..e-mail i'll try findin' it.. [email protected] <-that's my e-mail

For the record, insulting potential customers is a real pisspoor way to conduct a business. Plain and simple, you just won't get any. My custom made grill using expanded metal is by far strnger at least than aluminum which I assume your grill is made out of. If you treat the steel right, and powdercoat it yourself, you'll still have a much cheaper cost grill than the one's you are trying to sell, and of the same if not better quality. And YES, an $.80 grill looks just as good as the ones you sell, I know it because I've compared. I think I'll save my $100 for something that will actually benifite my car.

And just so you know, insulting customers won't be tolerated on here, I have no beef with you selling your products on here (it's better suited for the "Classifieds" forum though) but if you insult another customer, you maybe asked to not post advertisements on AF in the future, and possibly to leave AF altogether. Thank you.
