dont forget fellas' that its people who know nothing about the car they own able us (people who know alot about the car and love the car) to get it for real cheap when they are done putting easy miles on it to the grocery store and to work. yeah, i feel it is a waste when i see an 60 year old person driving a z32 TT around town at 10 below the speed limit, but if you think about it. when he dies his family might not know anything about the car and just think that it gots 120,000 miles on it and its 15 years old. ill just try to get $3-4k for it.

you have to remember that the 240sx was meant to be nothing more than a good gas milage sportier car, to offer to people who wanted the benefits of a econo box in a more refined sporty look. nissan didnt intend for the car to be an all out drift machine or 12 second car for the US. they just wanted to offer something that wasnt really offered then, an affordable economy sporty car.

Maybe they wanted a 240 because they like the way it looked. At least they bought it, instead of leaving yet another S14 unsold on a showroom floor or rotting in some backyard. And not everyone has to turn their car into "teh uber JDM tyte drifto machin!". Besides, 240s are pretty damn good daily drivers. You know, almost as if that was what they were designed for.

a 300z is one awesome car, but im not bashing on you just because you have one and you think you are better than all of us who "just" have a 240. But atleast its $10,000 cheaper than a 300. See for us who appreciate 240s like we do, we know they are rare and we know they have potential. Just because its slow stock doesnt mean it sucks and it shouldnt be loved like we 240 owners love them.

Broke_as has to be obsessed like he said the 240 owners are because we look so hard for them.. i dont see how you are not obsessed? im pretty sure it took you a while to find that 300z because they are rare as well... you clean it and im sure you take care of it, so how are you different from us about being obsessed?

Yet you talk about how a 240s is just lucky to be bought instead of sitting at a dealer, then why did they stop making the 300z and how lucky that car was that you bought and saved it from a dealership... you are just missing the whole point...its not how expensive the car is that makes it worth to us more than its worth... its just what it is... we love them , i personally love them how they handle, how they are not so hard or not soft like boats to drive... how it has plenty of room for being being tall to fit in, how its a 4 cylinder yet produces enough HP to keep up with some 6 cylinder cars, and my favorite reasin why i love it is because its rear wheel drive and it has lots pf potential... sure i can buy a 300z or a 350z but rarely guys in their teens and 20s have that kinda money, not all of us get help from mommy and daddy to buy new cars, so we have to make the best of what we can, so we make the best of 240s and love them like ferarris.

240s are hard to find, but worth the wait.

Now when did I say price had anything to do with it? Thats great that you love these cars, go you! yeah i agree with broke as shiit, don't drive like a dumbass to see if someone appreciates his/her car or not. Who the hell cares if they dont' appreciate their car. A 240 is not all that great, sure it's fun to drive, but do you really think a 40 year old women who has more important things (kids, job) will thin about caring for her car and race you like a kid?

To those of you who say you don't like people driving a sports car and driving the speed limit, who the hell cares. Not everyone wants a ticket or has the need to drive like a hyper-active ricer. Some people like the pep of acceleration while having a sporty car but not going over speed-limit and getting pulled over waisting more time.

But why do you get mad? when i see a older person(hell when i see anyone) driving a 240sx that seems like they have no intention of "modifying" it i always, always, always ask them if they want to sell it. Even if you dont need it, you can throw the bitch on on ebay and sell it. And if you have a bunch of stock parts laying around you can replace some of the "beat up" parts with better ones to squeeze out some more profit. 240's are in hi demand. I appreciate them just as much as anyone but i dont wig out on old ladies. O yea and my lil bro just got a white 93 SE fastback 5-speed hatch for $2800. It has a nice running engine very taken care of, i consider it one of the lucky finds. I could tell he was happy to finally find one after months of searching. Actually im jealous whahhhaahah cuz mines auto....still searching for another.
