For what he is looking for i would say import = mr2, dsm or domestic = 5.0, lt1.

ditto's on the RX7 TII's and MR2's.

and the only mentanince on a 7 is to wach out for apex' seals. beleive it or not all rotaries have a mind and feelings, treat its engine like crap and it blows a seal. treat it like its your granpa's caddy that you jsut happen to play around with... your selas will live a long happy life.

it is usually people who dont know good rotary mentanince that call them un reliable POS. taking car of a rotary engine, especially FI, it very different from talking care of a NA cylender or FI cylender engine... there is more to it than chaning the oil every 3,000 and checking other vital fluid levels...
