Re: Honda's new K20a2 Motor

according to acuras website it starts at about $23,000 but thats with leather, i personally would rather have one without leather but thats just me. Also if you were to get a pre 2005 you could probably get a deal from the dealer right now for one, but hey if your gonna get one why not go all out!

Re: Honda's new K20a2 Motor

I posted before I read the whole thing, I really like the style of the 02-04, hopefully the changes made it look better. looks worse in that pic in teh articel but maybe its a weird angle. I might have to go make up my trust fund story again at the dealership and test drive a new one, I drove an 02 a long time ago and fell in love right then.

Re: Honda's new K20a2 Motor

If you can it would be awesome if you could test drive the 05 and the older model, id like to see what someone has to say about the difference in the two because i have wanted to do that myself but theres no acura dealership around here.

Also i think the 02-04 looks better than the 05 its just smooth and simple.

Re: Honda's new K20a2 Motor

acura is coming out with alot of good stuff; theyve introduced SH-AWD already in the acura RL. ive watched somewhere it will be in all the acuras in order to make acura stand out from honda. i myself am planning on a k20a swap into my crx in late summer/fall.

Re: Honda's new K20a2 Motor

Yeah i read about the sh-awd and in case anyone was wondering (since im a honda junky) it is an awd system that not only distrubutes 70% power between the front and rear wheels, but can deliver 100% power to the rear left or right wheel depending on cornering. Which in theory the rl is able to handle better in turns under acceleration. And with a 300hp engine you might need something to keep you from flying off the road!

Re: Honda's new K20a2 Motor

not sure if theyd let me drive both, maybem and if not I wouldnt know whats better cuz I drove it so long ago, but I am thinking that too, the 02-04 just looked clean and now they tried to make the style match the performance or whatever, just hope when I see it in person they didnt ruin it.

Re: Honda's new K20a2 Motor

RSX's are pretty nice cars. My friend had a 2003 RSX-S with AEM CAI, Tanabe exhaust, lowered on 18" Enkei's and it was a pretty fun car to drive.

Uh, because it's got an aluminum frame and if you rip out all that battery crap it'll weigh about 1,000 pounds without the motor. That's about half what the rex weighs.

Re: Honda's new K20a2 Motor

I saw a photoshopped insight once that was kinda neon/lime green maybe but it looked sick, kinda like a new CRX if they made one, with a K20 under the hood Id take one any day.

but I bet its far from cheap/easy to do that swap.

Re: Honda's new K20a2 Motor

http://files.automotiveforums.com/ga...conversion.jpg

thats the one I was thinking of. but that CRX/RSX looks pretty sick, if it did come out with the engines/weight the page says thats what will be in front of my house next but then I see all these posts about how its a fake, probably like that S2000 coming out with the I6 a while back.
