idle = when its in neutral (park for autos) and your foot is off the gas, its the RPM ur engine stays at (its idleing) should be somewhere between 550 RPM to 800 RPM (well thats what mine is)

the 93 dx coupe doesn't show the RPM...
how do i find it out?
The only gauges it has are the Temp, Tach, n Fuel.

Can i cahnge the face of it to show the RPM's? is that even possible?

yes, speedometer shows speed, Tachometer shows RPM, look at ur gauge cluster, the one that goes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 is ur Tach the one that goes 10,20,30,40,50 etc... is u speedo

Your idle is set too low if it's real shakey while waiting at a red light or something.. There is a flat head screw somewhere around your intake manifold that adjusts it.

Yeah... well, it shakes really bad and then dies.... i can't let go of the gas or else, if not i just put it in park.. or as they had suggested earlier i pt it in neutral, but i dunno if that will mess up the transmission or not, remember is auto.

will cause premature wear. I did all kinds of shit in my Civic cause I didn't care about the car a whole lot. I would rev that thing up in neutral and drop her into drive, put it in neutral while driving and rev it up and throw her into drive, I would take it up to 7500 rpm in each gear that i could get it up that far. All kinds of shit, ended up losing reverse lol, but that was nothing a $150 JDM D15B tranny didn't fix.
