Re: How fast is the new RSX S?

^I'd like to see it too. I like the new design. I owned a Mustang and I would never, ever, ever, EVER actually buy one again...or a Ford, for that matter...but I love to look at them.

Re: How fast is the new RSX S?

jmrev - Marginally faster than the 02-04.

Just a question about the new stang, how's its handling? It has a fixed rear axle.....

Oh yeah, forgot to add this to my point about the NA RSX Vs. Turbo, from a stop the NA has the advantage because the turbo is struggling to get traction, but from a roll it isn't a contest at all.

Oh, well inthat case, it has 180 hp, and 130 torque. I am pretty sure it is lighter, and teh compression in higher. I can see the difficulty in the race. I just do not like toyotas that much.

The new stang is nice from what I hear. There is like, one in the city I live in.

What about the 255hp cellica? Seems like that would wip any civic derivative ever produced.

Re: How fast is the new RSX S?

I am sorry, I may be behind in the times, but I have never heard of a 255 hp cellica. My friend said that teh gts could hang with his old maxima, but I have seen anything of heard of a 255 celica out of teh factory.

It comes from the factory with a "Panhard Rod". What this does is that it prevents the axle from moving away from the centerline. Without it, the Mustang has squirrely handling that requires the driver to learn how to use it effectively. It's not as intuitive as Front Wheel Drive, but once you learn how to steer with the throttle (i.e. power sliding, drifting ) it's a lot of fun to drive.

I may or may not replace it with the Indepent Rear Suspension when it comes out in 2006 on the new Cobra. Unless Toyota takes a risk and produces a new Supra Turbo, the Cobra is your only choice for insane performance.

Re: How fast is the new RSX S?

Yea the all track/GT-4 was rare but it was a production car. I've seen a few around.

Oh, I see.

Knowing Toyota they won't make a high power supra unless it uses the hybrid like in one of the concepts because they want to become a green company.

Yup. There heading toward the SUV market instead of the sports car market. However, SUV sales are begining to slow and minivan sales are begining to rise. Either way, Toyota penetrates existing markets, they don't lead burgeoning markets.

Re: How fast is the new RSX S?

Well, in that case, Toyota just pissed me off again. As if the Scion was not bad enough, now they are going get into SUVs. THose deamn things should be restricted. They suck up gas like there is no tommorow, and most people who have them can not drive for shit.

Re: How fast is the new RSX S?

I like the 4Runner, it gets around pretty well but most people who have them don't actually use them like they were orgionally ment to be used.
