You wanna know why. First let's think about the definition of a ricer. It's someone who poses as or having something they don't right. Like all the stickers of companies that they have no products of and trying to look fast.

Now let's think about this JDM trend. You people buy all of these JDM parts trying to make your car JDM, but will it ever be...NO. Your car is just posing as a JDM car which = ricer.

Realy, I consider "rice" to be extensive mods that have no performance benifits. And just to make sure I understand your definition. A hatch with a Type R lip kit, Recaro front seats, Black rear seats with red stitch, Type R floor mats, CTR steering Wheel, and CTR engine swap is rice. Yeah right. And if you are right, than what does that make people with knock off mugen wheels? (Like the kind you were talking about getting) "Fake Rice"

what you described i don't consider rice, but when it extends to getting fucking CTR carpet and a navi system that more than likely won't work for shit just to say you have these JDM parts is rice. Just like if you get a fucking gas cap off of a JDM car just to say you have JDM pieces. I'm talking about JDM factory parts here, everything you listed is after market besides the steering wheel and engine swap.

All the parts I listed are OEM. Maybe not OEM to the USDM, but OEM to Honda. A great Example, my integra has Honda emblems on it now. Not Red ones, but the plain silver ones. Does this = rice?

Read what you wrote. According to you, this is rice. By the way, this is a GS-R, not Type R. It has a honda emblem on the back, a front end only available in Japan. Recaro SRD's that only came in JDM ITR's, and five lug conversion that is not available for GS-R's. All these parts make this car look like a "JDM" Type R, which you discribe as rice because the steering wheel is on the left side. Yeah right.

What? Thank make no sense. Do you know what OEM stands for. Original Equipment Manufacture. Which means there all honda parts, just the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) version. They don't stand out to police any more than stock USDM parts. Can the cops see that my seats have read stitching, and not just all black? Maybe they can tell my front lip is made by spoon sports and not just the stock ITR lip. Or maybe they are looking for Integra's with Honda symbols!

Can anyone on this forum just admit they were wrong?

No, the cops don't care whether it's JDM or USDM. They just know rice when they see it.
