I paid $8500 for my '93 VR4. High 13's. Not that I totally get this thread. I'd probably take my old fox Mustang for 1/4 mile, high/mid 13's for like $4500 with the gears (but it's lightly modded, maybe that doesn't count).

alot of that info is inaccurate but on the whole it is a good list the zl1 corvette had closer to 500hp not 430,

Just choose a car you would pick up from a car dealer and go straight to the dragstrip and have the fastest time for the least amount of money

At the bottom of the list, it says:

As for fast in the quarter meaning faster everywhere else: WRONG. A RWD car that is a little slower then an awd wrx, will more then likely beat it past the quarter mark. AWD= Slower top end, yet incredible launching.

i think he meant just the quarter mile is less than being faster everywhere else as in faster through the corner, and the slalom.
