I hate it when people post wins and races when they are going 100+ MPH down the highway. I do not consider it a fair race unless they are both at dead stop and then they go. That is a fair race. That way you know that both car and starting the same. On the highway there could be one car holding it at 6000 rpms and the other one may not be ready to race. That is not a real race. More like playing around.

that is very true i agree with that

thats why its probably better to do it at a track i mean who honestly tackles a corner in a street race?

Quick question...how does one know if another person was banned/blocked from being able to post? I hope he wasn't claiming domestic, cause we don't want him either. A fella like that doesn't deserve to advocate anything. Anyhow, being new to this forum, I'm seeing many cars on here that I like, y'all keep doing what you're doing, makes streets and tracks more competitive, nothing wrong with that.

Well said. A prime example of a well rounded domestic owner. We need many more like you around here. BTW, I wouldn't touch an SS Camero in a race, I already know I'd see tail lights off into the sunset from it, but I'd LOVE to test drive one, one day.

Thanks SilverY2KCivic. I know there there are those of you out there that I can beat, and there are plenty that I can't, it's not a big deal. That's the same for everyone. That doesn't mean we should all go around hating on each other. We all have fun working on our respective rides, and enjoy the time spent with those around us. People like XSuROisISX ruin it for us all, and are not to be called car enthusiasts.

No prob, just calling out a TRUE enthusiest when I see one. I don't by any means hate on domestics, yeah I prefer imports, but no reason or need to hate on domestics. Gotta love the classics especially. But yeah, all it takes is one sour apple that belongs on a Shwinn forum to begin with (hating on heck knows what cars) and he makes ALL of use look bad, esp. the side he associates himself with, which he never really specified, which leads me to believe he's just a 12 year old with WAY too much time on his hands, and a bad driving experience. Eitherway, I'd love to see someone such as you, BlkCameroSS stick around on here, we have our resident domestic drivers on here that always provide lots of positive feedback, and VERY interesting race stories (better than most of the import one's I've read on here )and they know when to call the BS stories when they see it, and don't flame members for it, unless the person is just a complete moron. But I totoally agree, we all win some, and lose some if we race, but it's the sportmanship of it all that's rewarding no matter the outcome. Anyone that hates on a car because they lost to it, NEEDS to have their car taken away from them, along with their rights to be an auto enthusiest, period!
