Best early 90's turbo sleeper!

Just stating what? I didn't forget the MR2 or the RX-7, I didn't put them in because they're not sleepers.

you said in your very first post other cars that would smoke them and are obviously not sleepers...you said the supra, 300zx, awd dsm...then he said dont forget the MR2 and then i...after seeing his addon, i said and the RX-7...we were just adding more cars to your list of cars that obviously aren't sleepers...

However the VR4 Gallant has to be the best sleeper in the list, especialy the later Twin Turbo V6 versions, and espcialy since in Japan you could order any body style with any engine spec and trim level.
Here in NZ there are LOTS of 1.8l VR-G gallants that look VR4s, and Iv even seen VR4s with VR-G bumbers and side skirts.

Fait dinkum, I remember seeing a picture of an Impulse and it looked the same as a Piazza. I was wondering what an 80's car was doing in a thread with the title 90's.

I'm still pretty sure the Piazza was badged as an Impulse in the 80's. Time for a fact-finding mission!

Well, the 80's Impulses here were 2.0 turbos, but they were RWD. Then, in 1991 and 1992, they made a 1.6 turbo, but it was AWD. I was talking about the latter.

Yeah, I almost put the Typhoon in, but fast cars and fast trucks elicit different judgments, so I kept it all cars.

But Opel has such a bad reputation here, I'd rather go by bike.

how about the celica gt4/alltrac that was always a pretty good sleeper imo since most people cant tell the difference from an early 90 all trac from an early 90 st

some of the impusles had lotus tuned susepnsions, so I'd suspect they handle rather well. Add the dodge Shadow to the list. And the turbo mitsubishi colt. It came with a 1.6 turbo I think but you can drop a 4g63 right into it
