No rule number one is follow the AF guidelines. That includes writing in English! If "god is a dj" cannot fill his profile in corectly then how is Mike or anybody else to know better?

So two wrongs make a right ?

I have been to many other forums on the web, and it only seems to be a problem here.

Re: i new

Come on guys how soft are you all? Mike's initial comment was hardly heavy or out of order. Go back and read it again, what is to get upset over that? He was simply stating a fact, no rudeness, threats or anything other than a simple heads up. The over reaction to it is quite puzzling - just an excuse for some people to push their favourite wheelbarrow

Re: i new

This whole thread reflects badly on our community here, a new member posts and it turns into an argument?

Disappointing! :

Where are the wrongs? All I can see is a member not filling in a profile truthfully and poor english, neither of which are terribly wrong in the global scheme of things. In fact I'm not even sure about the first one, maybe he is from Alabama?

I've been to plenty of other forums on the web too. None of them are as good as AF in my humble opinion. We have been over this so many times I am truely sick of it. Post how you like, let AF go to the dogs, but be prepared for the flack if you do.

Re: i new

It's often obvious when posters are not posting in their native tongue, and this is one of those times. Therefore, we should welcome god is a dj.

If it's not obvious to you if they are butchering English intentionally or personal, than better play it safe and keep mum about it.

Honestly, while I know I've been rather vocal on this topic and this comment may make me hypocritical, this sort of thread comes up entirely too often. Time to direct our energies toward sick car (or truck) models, or if you're glued to the internet, reference for said models.

Q: Why did the cowboy get a Dachshund?

A: He wanted to get a long little doggie!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Re: i new

Maybe the over reaction is because is just one in a series of many such instances. Like there was one guy asking the diference between the red and yellow enzo, apart from the colour, and he got loads stick from it.

Re: i new

Welcome new Modeller.
Any modeller is a good member and it have nothing to do with what contry he's in or what language he spoke first when he was born. I try to speak english everytime I come here and I just hope somebody understand me (I try to do it properly).

I understand you boddy and I welcome a new Modeller.

I remember when I came in here and there was this guy who named himself GRAMMARPATROL (or something like that) and this guy was always on my back and I felt terrible about that, I almost turned down AF for this, but one day... he dissapear like a bad flu... that day I was in heaven ! I'm glad I struggle enough to get him out of my back because AF is a great place to be !

Re: i new

yellow...hmm, it might work. I would suggest a tan or leather like color if you are looking for something in that yellowish tone. What kit is the RX7? is it the Tamiya? Fujimi? or Aoshima?
Good luck.
