The R32 has a 240hp 3.2L, and sounds amazing. It's bark is worse than its bite, although it is quick and is a nice car. 29k for a Golf though. For around 60k or less (including the price of the car), HPA has a twin turbo kit for it, and it ran like 11.7 and has a top speed of 200+. Not bad. Great kill dude.

Yeah you can go 11.7's in a vw with a little under 60k... Although its not going 200+ mph.... sorry.... ANd i have the 10000 hp car and driver shootout right here......Good kill , To many ppl with r32's around here think/act like they have the end it all vw...

about my friend's GTI...i dont remember how much it was modded...but i kno it was modded a good bit...now he has a turbo'd mitsu motor with an intercooler and intake and 3" piping runnin just about as fast as his GTI did...in a friggin dodge colt...

Not to be a VDub hater, or to jump on the bandwagon, but there were a bunch of Jetta turbo owners going crazy with their blow off valves at the track when I was there. It was comedic, in that they were running 15's. I missed a shift, and couldn't go into 2nd for whatever reason, and still ran a 14.7 sec. 1/4 mile. Not my usual that's for sure.

lol bandit, the kid in the blue one..he came up to talk shit one night because his boy's black modded one beat my friends stock s2000 by a fender so I got all up in his window and he was scared as shit and I told him to get the fuck out of here before something bad happends because he was too scared to get out of the car and when he was driving off I smacked his driver side mirror into his passenger seat...the little pussy just kept driving.
