parma made an rc car called the hemi coupe, you could use the wheels off there. its 1:10 though so might be a bit small....I think i have an 85 corvette somewhere also in 1:8.

Re: 1/10 scale 1964 corvette

Tape up the window openings and trace it from the inside. REmove the tape and use that as a template to cut some clear sheets with. I haven't tried it with complex front windshields like that but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Put the strips of tape from top to bottom so that you can preserve the curve.

I have two of those models, Corvette 1/8 1985 and Corvette Pace Car 1/8 1978. Nice work.

Re: 1/10 scale 1964 corvette

What did you cut the sub box out with, it looks very jagged. The body is looking good, but more pictures would help increase replies.

i scored it with an exacto knife and the simply broke it off but i had to file it to get it to fit right and thats what made it a little jagged, but im going to make a custom council and putty all the edges on the box so you wont even notice them, whats funny is that those small computer speakers inside your case and perfect for this scale of model, and yes i model(sig) check it out, http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=326545

Re: 1/10 scale 1964 corvette

Progress looks good so far. I can help you on the engine if you want. Small block, big block, blown, injected, tri power, dual or single 4. Manual trans. or soon maybe an automatic. Can probably dig up some wheels, but they would be more like vintage drags. Can also do a hood and side vents to turn it into a '67. Just a warning though, 1/8th scale taint cheep.
