Come to Jacksonville, FL and tell me that. A dealer there had an 03 Enthusiast with 37,000 miles, they were asking 28K, I got them down to $23K, but decided to get a new one.

Yeah and as I said, the base model is the fastest and it's not 33K. Have you ever heard of Power to wieght ratio? You can spend 26K or less and put the rest into mods as you put it for the WRX, to bring the 350 to the base price of the WRX and it'll get owned.

BTW where are you getting this Info? Bring up the WRX, if you're going by the "Total cost of ownership" then show the WRX.

A 350z should win as long as you can launch. The WRX will get out of the hole with a quickness but dont let that discourage you. Try to get it on the top end. One plus to the WRX over the 350 is with a bolt on exhaust you will get 40+ to the wheels. A bit harder to do with a 350. Doesn't make it better just really easy to get HP.

That's a great source of info, you just keep forgeting the topic of this thread, we're comparing the Nissan 350Z (any trim level) against the Subaru Impreza WRX Sedan as said in the topic "Non-STi" so let's look at the Non-STi.

Well that's the price of an Impreza, so what's the WRX? Subaru.com says MSRP of $24,895 for a base WRX.


That's $2k difference in the two cars base for base. MSRP wise...

Let's not take this where all the other's like it go "Well if you put the difference into car B it'll be faster than car A!". Let's assume both people buying these cars have the same amount to spend, they're going to stay under $30,000. Now the most likely scenario is both are going to get as much standard equipment as possible while leaving some left over for any extra's they may want. So prices aside, stock for stock the WRX will loose to a 350Z, with that in mind you should realize why there are suck people as tuners... "bah my friend has a faster car then me, I can't afford another car, so I'll make this one faster!" ... Thus the tuner is born Or the person just wants to make it fast because he wants to...
