Re: Progress: Mazda RX-8

wee more progress, managed to pull of the cf-ing on the hood yesterday, more or less. did some overlapping on the cf cuz i needed to lay another layer of black, since the decal left awful marks on the body and applied a layer of clear coat for some minutes ago, whatever, here are the pic and remember its my first try on decal larger that 1cm2

and another note to ppl in my age, NEVER EVER build models wile you play Counter-Strike, its get really messy =)

Re: Progress: Mazda RX-8

Yeah, I play Counter Strike all the time when I'm making models. The biggest problem i have tho is being AFK and getting kicked about every 5 minutes. Gives you something to do while the paint dries tho.

Re: Progress: Mazda RX-8

Good progress so far, looks very promising. Black looks really sinister on the RX-8. But you might want to take off the Nismo decal as Nismo only caters to Nissans, and either choose Enkei or Rays as they are both wheel companies, or remove them both as you are planning to use the Veilside rims. Sorry for the nit-picking...its your model, do what you want, it looks awesome either way!

ummmm....OK.

Build for yourself, its only my opinion. Just my personal experience of being in the Show car/sponsorship deal for 7 years that rival companies dont usually share cars at the same time. But there are exceptions to everything. Even if you keep the Nismo decal...its still an awesome build. Cant wait for the finished product. any interior progress?
