I'll have to agree with everyone here. They seem to big for that particular truck. Can you find a Jada truck? Just find something with a set of rims you like.
Here is my truck with scaled 30" rims on it:

I feel it looks great as most others have said the same thing. But then again, it is a more modern vehicle.
Remember though, build what you like, no one else matters.

Got some color for the body. Its somekind of metallic purple. Lightning doesn't make justice for the color.

Scratchbuild bumper and rear rollerpan. And those too big wheels.
Everything else but fuel filler has been shaved.

Re: Do you think that these wheels are too big?

I don' think they are too big. Didn't someone say that they came out to be about 26". 26"s on a full size chevy is not too big. BTW I like the roll pan & front bumper.

Huh! Got some progress finally.

Finished interior. Seats and streering wheel are from that same crappy toy car than rims. And if you are wondering, that big red think is oilpressure warning light.

It got new custom grill. Two horizontal bars were added and mesh behind them. Then painted with chrome spray.

Also behind was sorted out. BMF fuelcap. Heat shield and huge exhaust scratchbuild. That logo is from this kit.

So, what do you think so far?

Re: Do you think that these wheels are too big?

Pretty nice model.
I think the rims are too small...hee hee

Build the model the way you like it. I am not fan of 50 in rims but hey who the heck am I.

Your epoxy job looks fantastic to me.

Take care

Hey Jurva!

Your kit is interesting, keep us update.
May i ask you something. This kit, the Mad Mudder, comes with stock parts too? or just the big engine and the custom hood?

Thanks
See'ya!

No stock parts. It comes with 4wd huge lift. I had to mold that hood close, because the original has huge hole in it. It donated all drivetrain to future project. And engine had new home in my 240Z TwinTurbo.

As stripping the paint from the hood, I got this crazy idea.
Flocking that hood. And with pink flocking. That would surely turn heads.
Crazy or not?

Also a new picture, showing scratchbuild mirror, bedcover and subs.
