Thank you! hello? single cam 1.5L vs 1.8L twin cam? he only beat me by a 1/2 sec. I don't think it's that bad.
An Si tranny on an LS motor?!? That doesn't make any fuggin sense.

And don't assume that he only beat you by half a second with a 2.5 car length loss on the street, you haven't even raced it on the track. Don't try and pass off opinion as fact, that makes you look foolish. How do you know he didn't fuck up his lanch or something, wich could make his run a 15.3 on a hypothetical track, wich would put you around 15.8-9.. Its pretty hard to assume that he ran the same time as his best 1/4 time when he was racing you.. Especially since it wasn't even on a real race track.

Damn why is everyone so negative? I'll go to the fuckin track and get a time slip. Jesus christ I have a mini-me swap against a twin cam motor with less weight and more displacement and I can't get any credit.

Re: B18 REX Vs. Mini-Me REX

Because you're speaking opinion like its fact and expecting everyone to give you mad-props on your ultra dope mini-me.. Sorry, it just doesn't work like that for most of us.

And I don't even understand what you want people to give you props about? That you only lost by a bus length? You want us to be proud that you did okay against a guy? Why are you so desperate for our love anyway?

When do I speak opinion like a fact? I just state what happends, you give props to a guy that freakin molded a wooden 4x4 under his hood, and it just seems like everyone is against me that's all. I've come a long way with this car and it just feels nice to express my experiences and then I get shut the fuck down when I post. Anyway, I'm done..again.

Re: B18 REX Vs. Mini-Me REX

Don't worry, everytime I post about a race people give me shit about it too. Its like whenever someone is happy with their car everyone has to say "its not possible" or "the other guy wasn't trying" Or stuff like that.

If you are happy with what you did then everything is cool.. Good job man!

Neuspeed springs (1.8 front and 2.0back drop)

That set up alone got me into high 13s. You would need binoculars (spelling) to see me ahead of you!
I have to raise a B.S. Flag here ... there is NO Way a N/A b18c motor with 8.4:1 CR ran 13secs... I don't care what you have for bolt ons and how much displacment.

the B16 rods are 0.143" shorter than the B18c ones. Unless you had a turbo on that motor I have to

i guess you forgot to throw in the nitrous shot you're running which would be the equivalent of boost.

Yea, you pretty much said it. I don't even want to post my car when I get the body kit done and repainted 'cause ppl will prolly just diss the shit out of it or something.

Re: B18 REX Vs. Mini-Me REX

GSR block + B16 rods+ CTR pistons + B16 head = 8.4:1 CR = good boost motor not N/A

I'm not one to Rase the B.S. flag much... it might not have been B16 rods maybe they were B18... at witch point it is possible. but not a chance with B16 rods!

BTW mini-me can be quick little cars, like I posted in an other post keep an eye on oil pressure, I have 2 friends who spun cams because of low oil pressure.
