Indeed there are,but no way am I going to sit here wearing a head band, tapping out letters by nodding at the keys. It's hard enough staying in the conversation with one finger typing, and one finger permanently hovering over the'backspace' button!

i taught myself. After typing like you do, I just memorized the keys and now i type faster than I used to. I still type kind of slow, but fast enough.

I type the "wrong way." I typically use my first and middle fingers and my thumbs, and that's it. I can type fairly fast this way, but I make a lot of mistakes and I still have to look at the keyboard. I should learn the right way...

I dont type with my fingers on the right keys, and last time I checked I averaged maybe 50~55 wpm. The highest I ever got was 125, and I doubt I'll beat that anytime soon.

I just started using a cd-rom typing tutor about an hour ago. I have the basic home keys down with a few others. I was averaging 10-13 WPM when not looking at the keys :finger: But, when I use my own style that I have used for years (that I am using right now), I can type all that above in less than a minute

So, how fast can you type?

...Should I just only post using the home keys and type everything -- e-mails, posts, etc... that way? I really want to learn how to type properly, but it's f**kin frustrating having to think for a sec of what finger goes to what key, etc..... etc.....

I wish I would of done this shit right from the start!!!
:hehehe: damn if it took you that long to type that title then how long did it take you to type this whole post???
I took one of those test things online about a month ago and I type about 90-95 WPM.
