Yeah, I figured it was going to be simple machining in the get go...10 years later, Ive got a machine shop...pretty cool I thought. Although, we do a lot of tiny machining and tapping (0-80 threadding and 1/32 Ball nose endmilling). Id like to to bigger stuff thats cool...

I don't know how to use Auto CAD or any of the other CAD packages, so they will likely be draw on paper the old fashioned way. However, if the cost changes by supplying a CAD drawing, I guess I could learn.

Ive got a really cool program, called Solidworks,
www.solidworks.com its a 97 version that I bought back in 97, duh, I could make you a copy and send it out. Its a really intuitive 3-D CAD program and is geared for doing a whole lot of stuff other than just parts. The nice thing is the files are really small so emailing them is keen.
Yep...Just to let you know, im in the process of moving my business come late Feb or early March, so Ill be down for a bit. Ive got my Strut Tower Brace Im working on as well, so if youre in no rush we can hash out the details.
Email me your address and Ill get out the copy of the program for you to test out. Runs well on almost any Pentium based PC.
