windex? i'll have to try it. as far as the cat is concerned. i put it on new with the rest of the exhaust components. it was a magnaflow hi-flow converter sealed in box so i doubt that would be it. i gave up on dealerships since. . . "well, first replace everything back to stock and then we'll look at it. right now it will be $54 to get your keys back since we diagnosed it"

also make sure that the gaskets are aligned properly at the cat

...that is screeewwweedd up if they can diagnose it they can fix it...

what's even funnier is the fact that when i took my last car (cavalier) that was heavily moded, they charged me $88 for 2 hours of dianostic fees for them to tell me i should get a new engine from a junkyard and swap it. i later found out that i just didn't have enough voltage because of an underdrive pulley which made it miss under 1k rpm's. bastards!

stuff like that happens. on a crazy long run, opening the hood on GS-Ts at night ppl see the turbo glowing red hot.

exhaust is meant to be hot...i dont think theres any 2 ways about it...mine burns.

i checked mine, at about 4 inches away from behind the car it was hot to the point of burning, nothing glows though and i'm still entirely stock

that's cool. i'm not so worried now. i never checked the stock setup so i automatically got worried after all the mods. thanks for the info
